Thank you so much for booking your session!
I’m looking forward to collaborating with you on your new tattoo.

Check out the video below for some critical information needed prior to your scheduled session!

What to Expect When You Arrive

As a reminder, our workspace is structured as a safe, accommodating, and completely inclusive environment for all bodies and individuals.

To protect both your skin and the environment, our studio practice uses entirely vegan, cruelty-free inks and aftercare products, alongside compostable single-use setup supplies wherever possible. You are in expert, intentional hands.

Some essential guidelines:

1. Hydrate and Prep Your Skin

  • Hydration is key: Drink plenty of water starting today. Well-hydrated skin accepts ink more efficiently and heals beautifully.

  • Leave the shaving to me: Please do not shave or trim the area to be tattooed yourself. To maintain strict safety standards and prevent razor burn or microscopic nicks (which can impact tattooing), Dillon will handle all skin prep using sterile, single-use equipment at the studio.

  • Sun Protection: Ensure the area is entirely free of sunburns, scrapes, or heavy peeling. We cannot tattoo over damaged or sun-exposed skin.

2. Fuel Your Body

  • Eat a solid meal: Eat a hearty, clean meal 1 to 2 hours before your appointment. Tattooing burns calories and drops your blood sugar; arriving on an empty stomach drastically increases discomfort or lightheadedness.

  • Bring snacks: Pack easily packable snacks (fruit, protein bars, candy) and a sugary drink (juice or soda) to keep your energy and blood sugar stable during the session.

3. What to Wear & Bring

  • Dress for access and comfort: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that gives easy, unhindered access to the tattoo placement area. (Keep in mind that tattoo ink can occasionally wander, so don't wear your favorite outfit).

  • Bring layers: Your body temperature will naturally drop during a longer tattoo session. Bringing a zip-up hoodie or a soft blanket will keep you cozy.

  • Distractions are welcome: Feel free to bring headphones, a book, or a tablet to help you zone out and relax while Dillon works.

4. Rest and Avoid Blood Thinners

  • Get good sleep: Prioritize a solid night's rest tonight. A well-rested nervous system handles long sessions significantly better.

  • Avoid alcohol and certain meds: Please do not consume alcohol within 24 hours of your session. Additionally, avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin or ibuprofen unless medically required.
